Baeble Music is an online destination for free live music. Founded in 2006, Baeble lays claim to an ever growing library of full-length concerts from today’s up and coming artists, enabling those from outside the largest markets to share in a unique live music experience of their favorite emerging bands. Justin was brought on as an intern for the website in the winter/spring of 2007, when the company was still in its infancy. During his internship, Justin was responsible for uploading content onto the webpage and researching potential sponsors for the website. Eventually, he was given the task of writing record reviews for album releases, as well as reviewing live performances that had been added to the webpage. In the spring of ’07, Justin embarked on a interstate promotional trip to advertise for the company, paying visits to colleges, universities, and local radio stations to spread the word about the website. Although his internship ended in the summer of ’07 with his graduation from college, the website’s directors were so pleased with Justin’s work ethic and abilities that they took him on as a part-time editor in the winter of ’07 and into 2008. He was assigned to make a short commercial for the company, as well as editing together music news briefs that were broadcast on the site weekly.
